Guru Purnima Celebration at AISSMS SSPM Nursery and Primary Day School
AISSMS SSPM Nursery and Primary Day School celebrated Guru Purnima with great devotion and enthusiasm on 29th July 2026. The school campus was beautifully adorned with decorated school boards and flannel boards displaying inspiring pictures of gurus and the significance of the day.
The programme commenced with the auspicious garlanding of the idol of Goddess Saraswati by the Nursery students, seeking the blessings of the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom.
The celebration continued with students delivering thoughtful speeches highlighting the importance of gurus in our lives. They also recited meaningful poems expressing gratitude and respect for their teachers. Adding to the festive spirit, the students of Std. II presented a delightful dance performance, which was appreciated by everyone.
As a token of love and gratitude, the teachers of the Nursery and Primary sections were felicitated by the Headmistress with a rose and a handmade greeting card. The thoughtful gesture made the occasion even more memorable and reflected the strong bond of respect and affection shared between the students and their teachers.
The celebration concluded on a joyful note, reminding everyone of the invaluable role that teachers play in shaping the lives and futures of young learners.
